WHAT IS EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE?

EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE is a movement to improve government by making it more transparent, participatory, and collaborative. EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE will help build the public’s trust and satisfaction in government, will improve government’s delivery of services, and will create new opportunities for innovation.

EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE is a non partisan 501c4 organization with a goal to educate citizens on important issues.

WHAT EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE IS NOT

EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE is not about lowering taxes, a new school board, a skate park, or personal vendettas. EVERYONE’S ENTERPRISE is not a PAC.

TRANSPARENT • PARTICIPATORY • COLLABORATIVE

TRANSPARENT • To increase accountability, promote informed public participation, and create economic development opportunities, the city shall expand access to information.

PARTICIPATORY • To create more informed and effective policies, the city shall enhance and expand opportunities for the public to participate throughout the decision-making processes.

COLLABORATIVE • To more effectively fulfill its obligations to citizens, the city shall enhance and expand its practices of cooperation among city departments, governmental boards, other governments, the public, and non-profit and private organizations.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to educate and inform the citizens of Enterprise about issues affecting them and their children’s future and to promote Open Government.

OUR VISION

Our vision for Enterprise is that of a city that is growing, vibrant and pleasant to live and do business in. We believe our government officials should respect all citizens and businesses and should be accountable to them. We believe our city government should seek to be open in all it does and should seek to educate the public about all its activities.

Furthermore, the city should develop a legal framework to grow a culture of open government and should seek feedback about the effectiveness of its open government efforts. The Council and Mayor should commit to working with city officials, departments, governmental boards, and the public to implement open government in Enterprise.
